Career Milestones
During my nursing training I was fortunate enough to spend two valuable learning placements in the palliative care environment. I also came across patients within a community setting who had palliative care needs. These periods and experiences helped in developing an insight to the management of and symptom control for patients with palliative care needs. This time also gave me an opportunity to develop the required skills for working with this type of patient.
